Recently, I have been made aware that the Martial Culture of Chaoshan in Guangdong, is distinct from the province's Cantonese and even Hakka styles. But in that Reddit thread, they did not name any Martial Arts styles which may have originated in places like Shantou or Teochew. Can someone name some of these styles? I am very curious since I heard their forms are rather short (longer than Hakka styles but shorter than Cantonese styles).
