I rather like the feel of the real bubblewrap... there is something about actually feeling the pop! This website is great for those who enjoy hearing those pops.... sure satisfies the fix....

I don't know about studies, but there was a funny cartoon I saw several years ago showing some guy in a padded cell surrounded by stacks of used-up bubble-wrap sheets, and the caption, `Tragically, the addiction usually starts innocently with a few loose sheets from an appliance box. But some victims go on to buy it in bulk...' It was a lot funnier in the original...
