I saw it on HBO some while back. It was a good movie. The book is on my shelf, but I haven't gotten to it yet!

I saw the movie on VCR shortly after in came to theaters. I couldn't watch the whole movie because of my anger and disgust for what the political system did to contribute to the death of all those solider. A few Apache helo could have improve the situation a whole lot.

I preferred the History Channels version. Less Hollywood drama and build up of characters, and actual interviews with people.
But that is my taste. Overall not bad, but I preferred the docudrama as they call they from the History Channel.

I sat on the edge of my seat inparts of the movie.
It was hard to not yell at the screen at times.
