Hi all!
I need a pair of martial arts training shoes for class. You know, thin soles and close fitting uppers. The problem is, I wear a size 9 1/2 EEEEE with a high instep. That means.. the smallest regular martial arts shoe I can get on is a size 11, which is far too long and would hinder my performance significantly. I've discussed it with my instructor who is relaxed about the issue, as long as I find thin soled shoes without too much tread so they don't stick to carpet like a running shoe.
So, I am in dire need of advice. Low top chucks (converse all stars) would do the trick, but don't come in wide widths. Does anyone know of a martial arts training shoe that comes in wide width?
