This first came to my notice when I logged on to the computer, it was AOL so I looked for a better source. Now sad as the story is and it may well be mysterious but what really amused me were the comments readers had put up after the article. It's maybe British humour, some of them were quite likely perjorative but they were very funny and true!

Would this be anything to do with the currently disrupted magnetic fields of the earth and that sort of thing? Whales in the Humber, it is a weird world right now.

I liked the commentater that pointed out that there are a lot of whales in Yorkshire.

They should be more specific what type of whale has been beached in the title.
