68 local peace officers join Special Olympics torch run

68 peace officers, including Chief, joined the athletes for the torch run as it went through my city. When the run ran northward to the city line, a group of officers from the the neighboring town joined the run for the next leg of the journey. It sounds like the officers were just as thrilled to be a part of the run as the athletes were. Way to go NPD!
