I've been to six of the nine and agree they are lovely places to live. That's Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt, Geneva, Berne and Dusseldorf. I would add a few more Inverness, Truro, Arnhem, Nijmegan, Den Haag, Ripon, York, Avignon.

you got snow yet?

It's like FREEZING over here, like 39 degrees (Yes, FAHRENHEIT)

No snow, no frost it's suspiciously warm for the end of November! This time last year we were up to our ears in snow, stuck indoors or stranded. I think it's going to make up for the warm November we've had very soon.

I've spent a significant amount of time in many of these cities and I have to agree with the polls. Of all of the places I've been, I've liked Berlin, Boston and Seattle the best. I could live in any of these three cities without any problems at all.

I was born in New York....and left. Now I am quite happy to be near Boston.

I think Nashua, NH Is #1 for quality of living ;) 30 minutes to the Monadnocks, 60 minutes to seacoast, 90 minutes to the White Mountains....win :D

I really liked it up around Concord and a bit further north to Laconia and Winnipesaukee and I really love it in the White Mountains National Forest and I use to spend a week a year all the way up near Berlin

I looooove it up in the White Mountains. Harder to find jobs up there but I hope down the road I can rent out my condo here and move up there. Maybe get a job as the router geek for one of the hospitals or something like that :)

After High School (In Massachusetts) I was enrolled in and accepted at Paul Smith for Forestry I was pretty sure that was where I would end up..... Now how I got from there to PC/Network support and security..... I have no idea..... But somewhere between there and here I was seriously considering Berkley..... What a long strange trip this has been :D
