Nice to meet you! It depends where you hit, how hard, and to some degree also what someones pain tolerance is! I have seen some people cry at a small tap and I have seen others charge through a full power swing!
Ty for replying stickarts.
Good 2 meet u.
How 'light' of a tap can a rattan or bamboo stick do damage to the body inside and out or what 'degree' of smacks are needed to bring an attacker to the ground ? :whip1:
I've always heard in martial arts that 1 pound of pressure can break a bone, but some persons' bodies are founded have strong bones and muscles
Phew, I was starting to swell with the greens of envy Great pics and great too to be able to see your school. I would not mind training there! Maybe one day, right? Take care Frank, wishes, Jenna
I know what you mean about the New Year. Just started classes again today. Even though it was only a week and a half off, it felt much longer. It's good to be back practicing and setting new goals for the year.
Going out to dinner with my hubby. Then hang out at home. Not much into parties. I am taking time off in a couple weeks. I have a student from California, where I used to live, who is coming to visit for 9 days. It will be fun to have a training partner in the house! And I get to do touristy things!
