I was going through my knives and it got me to thinking about the best way to story my liner locks that don't get carried or used much.

Shout I store them open or closed?

Thinking about it, I think open might be better. I would be less stress and wear on the leaf.

Jeff,

I do not think there is enough tension on the leaf spring. And I bet there is still tension on the leaf when it is open, to hold the blade fixed in place. I think there would be a reduction in performance, having the knife closed for safety, far outways this reduction.

Just my 2 cents. :)

I have to agree. I simply would not worry about it.
