Straight to DVD films are the cornerstone of American cinema.

It says that the previous movies "have made it."

I was surprised to see the trailer in the theatre. Yeah, I won't go looking for this one.

They should have at least gave the film series a new title, like

"The Grappling Beetle" or something!

I'll probably wind up having the DVD... my wife is a movie junkie (it's her only vice except me) ;) I think the cool thing to think about here is that an MMA star has garnered enough attention to be noticed by the Hollywood types. If you follow my twisted logic that's a good thing as it means MMA is gaining and by extrapolation Martial Arts in general will gain.

Oh man,

I have been roped into seeing "Pitfighter" pure Vale Tuedo. It was cool enough to see twice. "Never Back Down" was the Karate Kid I for this generation. "Redbelt", well I want that wasted time in my life. I will skip this one.

I mean, even as bad as it was "Throwdown" showed pure Judo. Old movie us dinosaurs will remember. Came out during the Ninja craze of the 80's.

I have yet to see "Forbidden Kingdom." It looks to me as it was a cross between "House of the Flying Daggers" and "Fearless".
