Possible "October Surprise" Choice

This article, and this site, reek of conspiracy theory to me, but the supposed author is slightly credible, so I thought this might at least foster some conversation.

Some "facts" in the article make me shake my head; for instance, I thought the Navy had retired all the active F-14 squadrons, replacing them with F-18's, but I've been wrong before.

Honestly I belong to several Jewish News Groups and Clubs. There is more chatter of Israel getting plans or is in the prep stages of taking out IRAN's nuclear program with a military strike. This could be a joint American-Israeli venture.

Recently USA gave Israel 5000 bombs (Bunk Busters) that are capable of going deep into a underground site and silos of Nuclear Plants. hmmmmm......

"Current plan is to have Tomcats in service until mid-FY07. Tomcat squadrons have already started to transition to the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet aircraft, and will continue to transition in a phased approach"

I take it to mean that there will be Tomcats active until 2007. Really, it's a fact of minor consequence when you consider the big picture of this story.
