I find that lately I'm not being the best partner in the attacker's role when working self-defense lately.
A. I always try to actually hit the tori if he doesn't actually block, parry or get out of the way. That's being a good partner.
B. I still tend to obsess about my stances, so I frequently look down at my feet after I'v executed the attack, instead of reacting to my partners' strikes. Sometimes this results in me getting clipped by accident.
C. I have caught myself blocking, parrying, or at least shielding from my partners' strikes. A lot. When I realize I'm doing it, I stop, but it does make things frustrating.

Anybody else suffer from this stuff lately?
