Karate classes, pressure points help doctor take down intruder

A middle aged man wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and a backpack rifled through the contents of Cho's front desk.

"I just did it. I didn't think much of it. I threw him (the intruder) against the door and swept him on the ground."

The 39-year-old chiropractor says he must have summoned some karate moves he picked up years ago.

His parents watched as Cho held the man on the ground using a pressure point just beneath the mastoid, a soft spot behind the ear.
