Pekiti-Tirsia Educational Standard

In my Island of Negros Occidental , the practice of karate, Judo , Aikido -Tapondo had dominated many places specially in the city of Bacolod and expanded to other parts of the Island including Panay Island started in the 50's -60's -70's -80's and to the 90's where the Arnis and escrima had surfaced in forms of many interpretations combined with the Karate and Judo. The Arnis and Escrima became a third class type of martial Arts in the Island since the purity was not brought into the teaching circle. No body will appreciate your style of Martial Arts if not combined with the Japanese and Chinese martial Arts. If one incorporate Arnis or Escrima with Karate then it is called Modern. The traditonal art which was Kali had little or no importance at all. Until in the 90's the first Kalikalihan festival at Salvador Benedicto under the effort of Mayor N. De la Cruz had approved my initiative to install the culture in the Bala-an Bukid or Holy Mountain. The Pulahan tribe had the first initiation of walking on the red hot charcoal as the first Salvo of the kalikalihan festival. The showmanship of the old practices where the fight ( sticking fighting ) no head gear and no body armour brought to the sight of the people who witnessed the full contact challenges as an old sports.
Kali then was born for the first time and then on every year the kalikalihan festival is an on going festival , An 18th year celebration last February 3-9, 2008.
Pekiti-Tirsia brought a new life to the practice of kali in Negros and at present there are handful of people who appreciate the name Kali of course in name but not in the reality of the ancient culture.
Still the colonial mentality still prevails but there is a on going acceptance since many had witnessed the Pekiti-Tirsia in Action on live Cable TV.
Now for the past 35 years close to 40 years , Pekiti-Tirsia had spread the highest Educational Standard in the Technology of the true filipino culture . The teachings are focused on the quality and the true traditions based on Philosophy and Ideology.
Many institutions of higher learning had accepted the pekiti-tirsia doctrine as the most motivating discipline that changes the life of people to greater heights of effort to reach each Magnificent Obsession for greater safety and security.
The Philippine Armed Forces had accepted the Art with right Education and Right Doctirne applicable to the present social order. The time is right for the Pekiti-Tirsia system of training and System of learning the shortest way with realistic impact on every technique in a crash program training or long term work for greater mastery.
Educated men and women whose desire is to seek high standard of education wants a quality type of training and quality technology. But for those whose mentality is below par then they are willing to accept low standard of education, low standard teaching and low standard teachers with a dozen titles. Where subjects for learning purposes are not tempered in the right discipline of purity but mixed concept and mixed materials that are non-working elements for combat.
False interpretations with false teachings based on manufactured style , a system with no system , a style with no style. This is dangerous to the physical and mental functions of a persons way of life. Everything is wrong in a wrong education.
FMA must not be colored with blank materials not useful in the real world of combat. FMA must live to the highest standard of education for the right to survive in time of crisis. Those who teaches false edcuation can be judged by the way how the materials are presented and how the performance of suppose Masters or Grandmasters. A real grandmasters must have the courage and bravery with the true filipino traditions with no fear with no mental reservations.
