Converting .OGM files?

I have some video clips that are in .OGM and I would like to convert them into .AVI but I am having trouble finding software to do this.

Does anyone know what software I may need to purchase to accomplish this task?

I downloaded it but after I opened the video file in VirtualDub it said it had an error and it had an error with 3 OGM video files that I used.
This is sooo aggrivating!! I dont even know why some people put things in .OGM Yes the video and sound are perfect but it is such a hassle.

OGM is open, that's usually why. MP3 and many videso formats have licensing restrictions. Ogg Vorbis is a Open standard, and a pretty good one. Although it isn't as common as other formats.
