comparison of Prana with Qi ???

I was just wondering if anyone could enlighten us with a comparative annalysis between the concepts of Prana (from yoga) and Qi from TCM.

Yes.

The understanding and application of it may be different from culture to culture, but prana and chi (and ki, etc ...) point to the same reality.

Short answer: they're the same.

I would assume so, but in Yoga, the focus tends to be in Chakras and not the Triple Burner System of Chi Kung. Thay are NOT the same thing. The Chakras (I believe) refer to points on the tu and/or gen meridians (pardon spelling) -- the governing and conception vessels (dorsal and ventral meridians).

I also beleive that the most common focus of breathing is in the "hara" (solar plexus, or middle dan t'ien in chi kung).
