I've noticed a few of these schools in my area, and am totally unfamiliar with the style. Is anyone familar?

I got the above link from the local school's website (http://www.mauryskungfu.com).

The style is called "Changing Hands Family Style", so your translation is spot on. From what they say, it's a blend of "over 14 different styles"...but it doesn't go into any detail. Seems to be relatively new....
