If thats the case, and it just measuring the IR spectrum like the Home system using the sony's I mentioned, its reletivly useless.

A good Microfiber jacket would beat it since the tight heavy fibres wont allow the IR bounce from the skin.

We'll here is my idea.

We just arrest anyone that monitors these things for watching child porn everytime someone under 18 walks through, problem solved.

I guess I'm just glad to not live in the US. Privacy seems to have been thrown out the window in the name of "preventing terrorism. National Biometric ID cards, x-ray peep shows at air ports, New found federal powers....

I just don't see how really annoying the people is going to help the people. I can see more and more people getting fed up with the invasion of privacy and big brother practices and enacting a little citizen justice on the gov't.

Isn't that the whole reason behind having the "Right to arms", if the gov't starts getting out of control and repressing the rights of the people they can fight back?

I am not qualified to remark in this area but my understanding with this equipment was it measured a spectrum of light that naturally comes off your body, they had just found a way to filter it. This should make it safe in theory.
Hmmm, that would indeed be safe. I'll have to look more closely into the technology being used.
