They certainly have their work cut out for them. With such poverty its hard not for the police to need to earn a couple of dollars on the side.

A fascinating article, Tez and many thanks for posting it.

One thing that I came across in my student days when talking with my fellows from other nations was a real eye-opener for me back then. That was that they were astonished that the British people, largely, trusted their police force to be corruption-free and act to help them when they were in need. That knocked me for six for it was something that I had taken for granted all my life :lol:.

It just goes to show that sometimes you need to be properly thankful for what you have, even when you sometimes don't fully appreciate what it is that you possess.
