I think the future of CMA is brighter than it's ever been.

The reason i say that is because of BJJ and the MMA craze it's making ppl get off their butts and do something to shut these guys up. It's also weeding out some of the BS artist in CMA.

You have to be able to show what you know not just lead ppl blindly anymore.

I see that as a good thing for CMA ,although everything has it's good and bad.

As for medicine, I don't think there's a swing towards 'eastern' practices. Whether drugs come from natural sources or man made, in the end they are just chemicals. Science provides a way of isolating the active ingredients and perhaps synthesis them in bacteria. After all nature is extremely complex and much of science is about making sense of natural processes. In the old days, people were also trying to do the same. Not that they are any less intellegent but its because they don't have the accumulated knowledge and tools that we have today.

I agree, its important to train with intensity in order to improve.
