Hey you guys, click on over to the Kenpo net and watch the fight clip recently posted by Kirk. So far everyone supports the kids but I say they set the guy up. Also, I might have smacked the kid myself for hitting my ankle with the skate board. What I think is funny is that after a few good uppercuts to the face that kid didn't seem so brave. :uhyeah: Turn the volume down if you aren't hip on the F word.

yeah, i got the feeling they thought the security guard was outta line...i disagree. the guard told them to leave...did you expect him to just walk away...i wouldnt have turned my back on those thugs either. from what i saw, the board hitting the guys ankle was intentional, the fight has now begun. that moron got what he deserved...

That was a nice throw the security guard did though...Not sure how I feel about this one. I just don't think there was reason enough for it to go the route it did. It looked like the kids were gonna leave at first but then the security guard kept saying stuff. Which in turn caused the kid to become offensive and wanna break the guys stones a little bit. Then it just got taken a little to far. I just think that whole situation could've and should've been avoided.

Could've, should've, didn't. :uhyeah:

First off, I really dislike people like those skateboarding punks, I know their crowd, and for the most part they're just out for trouble, that's why they do it on public property instead of skate parks or building their own ramps. But the security guard did make plenty of moves I would think would be a little dangerous to himself. Especially when he lunged at the camera guy. There was one point where he was walking at the guy with the camera and had his back completely turned to the other two. Not so long ago there was a fight posted on kenponet where a coulpe of other skateboarders beat the crap out of this one guy, and they beat him with their skateboards. That could've easily been the security guard himself. He should've stayed on the property of his domain and watched them go. And I really think that comment about breaking the kid's arm was unnecessary. I mean, what does that do? The kid was more or less leaving, although not willingly or with ease. Oh well, maybe there was some other stuff that happened previous to the tape that would've showed reason for the guard to be angry, although it wouldn't justify it I would understand his position better, but all I'm seeing is after he was escorting them out.

This was more or less my feeling about this video. I don't have any love for punks like this, and if they didn't want trouble, they wouldn't be on private property. I think this kid wanted to start some "dook" and bit off more than he could chew.

That being said, this security guard was WAY outta line, and should probably be fired. Whether the kid hit him with the board on purpose or not, it never would have gotten that far if the security guard had just stayed on his own turf, and hadn't followed him around saying, "I dare you to hit me. Do it. I'll break your arm." He was looking for a reason to take it out on these kids, and sure enough, he found one. For that alone, I'd fire him if I was his supervisor. It's not his job to pick fights with kids, whether they deserve a whoopin' or not.

I did notice that the kid was awful tough until he picked a fight with a tougher adult, then all the sudden it was a big mean adult picking on "little kids." He didn't think of himself as little when he was swinging on that adult, only when the adult started swinging back.

Thanks!

After my first review, my impression is that they set the guard up, and he walked right into it. Luckey for him he had some punch, or it could've been bad.

He probably couldn't help but go into the "middle" of everbody, but he shouldn't have taken the guys skateboard. A guy looking for fight hit's onto the first opportunity to hit/kick. If he had to take the skatboard, the second best was to throw it away (depending on the surroundings). But this would always be guessing, since I wasn't there.

Watching that video was quite funny. That boy and his friends were idiots. The boy was asked to leave but the security Guard but he made it worst by goading the youngster! I can't say for sure what I would do if I were in the Security Guard's position but I would want to avoid a physical encounter if I could! I recall seeing an unknown youth tresspassing in my school when it was half term and a teacher came out and managed to get him off the premises without any violence! I also remember another situation while whith my friends at the pub! There were some youngsters causing trouble and they were asked to leave but being stupid they seemed rather reluctanct! The law in the UK does not allow bar staff in pubs to physically throw undesirables out so the Police were called and they escorted them out! Its just lucky it didn't take a nasty turn!
Its interesting the boy's friends didn't get involved either! I wonder why they just didn't pounce on the guard! They might have been able to stop their friend from looking like a complete idiot! But oh well it was funny to watch!!

The security guard didn't difuse the situation very well. We don't really know what happened before the guard started calling the skater a "bad kid." The skaters were being punks. All they had to do was leave, but they were too interested in being rebelious.

Once the skaters were on the public sidewalk the guard should have just let it go. He had something personal with them. He didn't have to keep making comments to them. It's not his job to make personal jabs at punk kids, just to keep his property safe.

I don't like skater punks much either, but this situation was handled all wrong.

Obviously I can't say for sure but I think these kids had been bugging that guy for weeks. Hitting that guy in the ankle with the skate board was with out a doubt intentional. This is a common practice. I watched a kid run his bicycle into an old man and then apologize. I regret not running up and throwing the kid and his bicycle into the street to this day. Oh well, next time. :hammer:
Sean

PS Before you go thinking I was out of line for my thoughts, the kid jumped a curb and kicked the back wheel of his bike into an old man walking along, minding his own business. Unfortunatly, I did and said nothing.

To watch that video is to watch the perfect harmony of yin and yang. The kid wanted to sucker punch the guard, and the guard wanted to be sucker punched by the kid. It should be no surprise, but it still always amazes me to watch these people find each other, and "dance".
