G'day Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have just joined and had a look at some of the past threads. I am a little uncomfortable with the Bujinkan discussions being listed under a Ninja label (anyone that knows me will confirm I am not traditional "sneaking up drainpipe" material - although I can; more like "bargeing through the front door technique"...!).

While the other X-kan folks may also have worthy things to say, my interest really lies in further understanding Hatsumi-sensei's teaching, and keeping up on the fantastic social web which has developed associated with this over time.

I have been out of the wider scene for a few years (last trip to Japan in March 2002) and am trying to understand what has been happening in the Buj world since.

Thanks for listening.
Ray

There is more to the Bujinkan than ninjutsu.

But where else would we put it? In many ways this reflects a lot of other arts, but I can't think of one art that really fits it. And there is ninjutsu in it.

And the moderators do a pretty good job of keeping discussions on how to make poisons and explosives from being posted.
