Shinobi No Mono

Has anyone here seen Shinobi No Mono/own the series?
I am just curious as to how good the movies are and what people think of them.Are they accurate interpretations of the ninja?Does the series have a good storyline? etc. Any feedback would be appreciated...

After exploring this site the series sounds pretty good, I found the stuff about Takamatsu and Hatsumi being consultants for the first 2 movies interesting.Still would like some feedback though.

I could have posted this on the "entertainment" board but i'm not really after how "entertaining" the movies are,more the historical and informative side of the movie? and how strong the connection between the Bujinkan and the movies is.

The first one is very good.
The rest.. my opinion is they are not as good and do not have the action as the first one.

There are two photos in the first one of Hatsumi sensei and one of Takamatsu sensei.. showing shuko and one of muto dori.

I have the first two, Shinobi No Mono, and Zoku Shhinobi No Mono.

Keep in mind, they are Drama's, so if you are looking for Sho Kosugi like action, then they might not be for you. I liked them both.

By the by...

you can purchase them and many other asian movies cheaply from

I buy lots of movies from them. Bear in mind, the subtitling is poor on some...
