S&w 4006?

Anyone shoot one? Any good? I can pick up a refurbished unit from a local gun dealer. The were origianlly a department issue weapon in Florida. They are going for about $275, with two 11-shot clips, dual safety, adjustable sight.

They're okay...I don't like most S&W autos because they have that damn magazine-disconnect safety (gun won't fire if the magazine is not inserted).

It will be a decent home defense gun. Very reliable, and can take any factory spec .40 ammo.

Trigger pull might feel a bit gritty, even in SA mode, but that can be fixed with a bit of polishing cloth.
