In another thread, a comment was made that Wong Fei-Hung's Fu Hok form contained a certain ten techniques that he was famous for utilizing in an especially effective way. Seems like these were his 10 favorite techniques, or something.

I've never heard of this, but I have not made a systematic study of Hung Gar.

Have any of you Hung Gar people ever heard of this, or can you comment on this? What are these 10 favorites, and are they found in Fu Hok?

The sup juet sao/ten killing hands techniques can be found in Fu Hok. Learning the method behind them is reserved for in the door disciples.

There are some suggestions that he either invented them or systematised them when he developed the Fu Hok method. Its not that easy to tell. I think that describing them as his favourite techniques might very well be closest to the truth.

I made my last post before I read the links carefully. Thanks for the info. Without studying directly under a good hung gar sifu, I expect that is probably the closest I'll come. Thanks for the input folks.
