Got the VIN for my Nissan Leaf yesterday. It's scheduled to be delivered the first week of July. Just over a month and I'll be taking the plunge into a petroleum free commute.
Next step is to schedule an inspection for the guys who are going to install the 240 volt charger.
And just for fun, here's a funny commercial for the Leaf. Although I agree with the sentiment, I have a problem with the bickering over market share. Chevy started with a jab to Nissan, referring to a "leaf blower" in their Volt ad. In this one, the Volt gets stung at the end. Personally, it seems to me that they should be working together to expand the market before they start fighting over market share. But still... the gas powered iPod looks pretty neat.
