HDNet's Ron Kruck did a nice piece on legal MMA betting in Las Vegas. He hits the house that Cagewriter always features, The Venetian, and explains how to bet on the fight game.

He touches on a note few MMA fans realize - the sport is essentially a zero in sports books across Nevada. Kruck says MMA betting represents 1-percent of the overall sports betting handle. Tiny, right? And even that's an exaggeration. Most houses don't book anything beyond the top three fights on a card and hold limits to $500 or $1,000. Beyond The Venetian and M, most book directors are afraid to touch the sport. That's why it's still largely an online betting sport.

Check back later in the week, Cagewriter will have the odds, updates and picks for UFC 108.
