Thanks Bill, that looks like fun, and some of the participants are very well dressed indeed! Takes me back to my recreation days...lots of fun and good learning too!

I have always enjoyed the occasional renaissance fair trip! Bill the one in Holly Michigan is pretty sweet!

I always go to the Holly Ren Fair, but as a photographer, the crowds make it hard for me to get shots of the people who dress up without also getting shots of some guy in a "I love beer" t-shirt stuffing a turkey leg in his mouth in the background.

But it is a very cool fair to attend, I agree.

I have to say I thought the Bristol fair outside Chicago was bigger, but that was many years ago. I know the performers and workers live on premises like gypsies during the fair. Left a girlfriend there once - she got a job, that was the last of her.
