Hello,
My name is Matthew Miller. I am a 1st gup in TKD Chang Moo Kwan, and I'm hoping to fill in more information about one of the persons in my lineage.
It is my understanding that our lineage is as follows:
Nam Suk Lee->Mi Yung Kim->William Buckley->then my instructors, and then myself. The only individual we don't know much about is Mi Yung Kim.
I found a "Myung-soo Kim" online who introduced TKD to Switzerland, but I don't know that this is the same person.
We know that the Master we are looking for was a student of Nam Suk Lee and that in the early 50's he was training students in the Baltimore area.
As the story goes, our Master, William Buckley, trained with him for about 10 years before Master Kim left the area one day "without notice".
If you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it.
