Middle falls. 9 shots composted into an HDR shot, contrast tweaked in photoshop.

Way too processed for my taste. Letchworth State Park is gorgeous, I'd love to see the pics without all the extra effects.

3 unprocessed shots of the above. Only processing was to resize, add a border and tag em. No color correction, contrasting, etc added. Straight out of the camera shots.

I like the SoC shots a lot better.

Maybe its just me, but I found the processed shots to be too fatiguing to look at. Its like the pics have ADD, they are trying way too hard to get attention. "Look at me! Now!" :D

I agree on the first shot, but processed second one had great colors and I could go either way on the third!

Part of the problem we had was there was 100% cloud cover most of the day, with only a few peeks of sun until we were leaving, so alot of the colors are pretty subdued. (also the skys pure white and boring in most of the waterfall shots)

I ran in to the same issue with my photos from the Monadnocks. The cloud cover made it very difficult to bring out the colors of the leaves. I tried some color correction with my freebie software (haven't splurged yet for Photochop yet ;)) but I found it very hard to get more clarity from the photos. That and I'm still a noob that is learning by tweaking dials :D
