That first one got so large it was causing trouble with the server, IIRC. Of course, that was in the olden days. Modern, virtual servers and high speed internet could probably handle it better.

People do get confused. There's a common misconception that the goal is to make post #10,000 when in fact the winner makes the last post, and the last post will always be after #10,000.

There is a theory that salt actually helps make coffee less bitter. I think whether true or not, if you need to do this you are drinking the wrong coffee.

But, if you like briny coffee, maybe a bacon garnish is a good thing....
