That's part of it. His mechanics were way off as well (impacting halfway up the upper arm for the downward elbow strike, halfway up the thigh for the raising knee), meaning he was robbing himself of a lot of movement, power, range, speed, you know, all the stuff needed?

Not an ideal example of anything, really. But quite funny!

What was he doing right?

He'd have impressed me if he'd even broken a single brick with that upward knee; he got exactly the outcome there I expected.

His body mechanics on the rest are pretty much "what not to do" examples. Even with spacers, he only broke a single brick...
