It's nice to see the law work for a change, or at least a judge with common sense. Since it's easy enough to have a paternity test done, I don't know why more people wouldn't demand it in these types of child support cases.

I have read about several cases where they do and the judge still orders support even though the child is not biologically related because the man has been the "father figure" in the child's life....etc...unfortunatelly it has been several months since I last read an article about it, so I have no references at the moment, but there was a big one on CNN a while back about a guy in a situation like that fighting for legislation that would give a guy more rights if this was found to be the case...
