MAEBASHI, Gunma Pref. (Kyodo) Hiroyuki Ono pulled away in the seventh leg as Nissin Food Products won its first national corporate ekiden championship on Friday.
Nissin completed the seven-leg, 100-km road relay in Gunma Prefecture in 4 hours, 50 minutes, 07 seconds, finishing the race 29 seconds clear of Konica Minolta. Last year's winner Fujitsu finished third in 4:51:37.
