During the lifetime of Siddhartha Gautama — later known as the Buddha — there was no country titled Nepal. Nor was there a separate place titled India. These are much later geographical, historical and political entities. The Buddha's human father was traditionally a king in his own right, in his own probably rather small country. Should one make claims about a religion, one must be accurate about one's information.
