Is it legal to knock someone out with a capoeira kick in WT Taekwondo?

Capoeira has a lot of kicks. Many of them are essentially identical to kicks seen in other systems, including TKD.

So to which kick are you referring?

I don't think so. I've been doing ITF for about 3 years, and I transferred from Capoeira. When I did a kick with my hands on the ground during sparring, the teacher told me it wasn't allowed it.
