I would like to introduce an organization to the membership here. In conjunction with Martial artists around the world we have begun the Guild for Martial Arts Standards & Training or GMAST for short.

We are basically a worldwide Dan registry that provides fellowshipping, networking, cross-training and information exchange with martial artists worldwide. Our entire purpose is to benefit children's charities around the world. We have kept the lifetime membership and promotional fees very small in order to attract many people. Our idea is thtat many people giving a little goes farther. The fees as listed on the site are in US dollars. It varies from country to country.
We have representatives in many other countries that participate and the funds they raise go to charities in their communities.

Our goal is not to be in competition with anyone or any organization. Our goal is to use our resourses and talents as martial artists to benefit our communities. It has made a positive difference and our goal is to see a needed increase.
We feel that membership in an organization, any organization is a nicety not a necessity however, we also believe in helping with what we've been blessed with.
