I have read comis sence I was a child and they cost 10 cents.
I had the first 3 years of marvil comics but they became "lost" while I was in the service.
Comics just cost to much today but I think they have become better. DC has made their hero's a little darker and more human

i used to collect marval comics. my father started it really... we have every x-men and x-men spinoff from the beginning til 1996. besides x-men... we have a whole bunch of others like spiderman, fantastic 4, oooh. and a whole bunch i can't really think of. i'm mostly partial to x-men because of the whole trasformation of jean grey/phoenix/dark phoenix....

Money may not be everything, but it sure can be comforting.

Not to mention:

Money can't buy happiness, but it *can* rent it for a short amount of time!!

I still have four longboxes of general marvel mutant serieses (sp), Spidey, and GI Joe. Stopped collecting (but not reading) when I started collecting antique weapons.
