As a FMA are you prepared ?

Are you able to render first aid, use a firearm effectively, build temporary shelter, collect drinkable water, use a compass (not a GPS), are you able to make a fire without a lighter?
Do you seek out training in such skills ?
Do you carry a "Go Bag" with the necessary items to survive 2-3 days on your own? Maxpedition makes a great line of such utility packs/bags, check them out when you are able.
