Does any art use a chokuto? I have grown quite fond of these and would liek to learn how to use one.

No.
Chokuto were the predecessors to the curved tachi, which later became katana. As far as I've ever heard, the only extant examples of chokuto made after about 1100 AD were specially made as temple swords, meaning they weren't used. Since the oldest extant Japanese sword art dates back to the late 1300s, I doubt that you'd even be able to find any reference to use of a chokuto.

I don't think there are any more schools around using those. Why the interest?

because i like the excelence of the japanese blade and i like straight blades, so why not. Straight and japanese...seems cool...
