I found a few Bujinkan Turky videos that I'd like to share with people, even if ye's haven't seen them.

This first one is of them doing randori. I'm not sure if you guys think that there should or shouldn't be training like this, but it certainly looks fun and I really want to do it.

Clearly an example of how the bujinkan is, in all reality, nothing but LARPing.

Their floor looks harder than the mat I train on.

the videos i think are great. i have talked with ercan sarbat a few times. he lets his students try to get what it would be in a real situation and to use their taijutsu. i see nothing wrong with the training. i think we need to practice more randori ourselves. i have been in the bujinkan for 3 years now and my instructor has never let us do it yet. a lot of the haters of the bujinkan say oh this art is crap or it won't work in a real fight well the videos he is doing sure looks like it would work.

Thanks for posting the vids.

Some looked good, some looked not so good and some crap. I think it is important to think twice before putting videos out. Especially of green belts or beginners. The randori looked not so intense but hey, all randori isnt so thats ok. However I think in Randori, generally the attacker should try to think about his distance and protecting himself not letting the defender roam free if he can prevent it.

The swordwork was not that good, the Uke part in the Bojutsu kata looked bad.

I should say Ive seen much, much worse so thumbs up for the guts to put up!

I only watched the randori video and it looked rehearsed or at least half-hearted on the part of the uke.

Like I've always said Props for putting up the vid's but as with anything on Youtube there will always be better intrepretations & worse intrepretations but as long as we'll all progressing that's what counts.
(Actually I don't think I've ever said that, but anyways...)

But either way it's great they put up some stuff from their Dojo.
