The best books to buy on "Ninjutsu" are probably those written by SKH and Hatsumi Sensei. It kinda depends whether your after The stories, the History or the techniques...although...PLEASE DONT LEARN NINJUTSU FROM A BOOK! sure they have great tips and strategies but they are only a guide, not your own little personal grandmaster made of paper.

I would reccomend The Ninja:and their secret fighting art by SKH,its a short novel, that has lots of history, facts, strategies and is written like an autobiography of Hayes' first meeting and training with Masaaki Hatsumi, its a great read.

Hatsumi and SKH together have many great books so i personally recommend anything written by them...As most know, avoid any books by Ashida Kim,"the ninja's deadly fighting art that only i know" or magical ninja techniques that the world is yet to see" and the like...

I think their was also a thread a short while ago about Ninjutsu books which you may find helpful...

Hope this is of some use,
much respect

what are the best ninjutsu books on the market?

My Opinion?

Stickfighting by Hatsumi.

Ninjutsu: History and Tradition by Hatsumi

Those are the two, of my collection, that I read most.
