A couple days ago a friend's son accidently shot and killed his (the son's) best friend while messing with a shot gun. The son is 18 and the best friend was 22. I don't care what your political views are I don't care what you think about parenting and responsibility. If you have a child that can pull a trigger on a gun then get them to a safety course be it hunter safety or what ever have someone who dose this all the time teach your child ASAP. I'm signing mine up Monday.

RED, my hear goes out to you, the boy involved and to the family of the victim.

I wholeheartedly agree about the safety courses. We, as a family, shoot competitively and my kids are around firearms all of the time. It was one of our first priorities.

I will keep you all in my thoughts. They have a hard road ahead of them all.
