Everybody poopoos online martial arts but I believe it can be done with the right teacher and the right student. Learning from video is not enough though, you need someone to provide feedback. You might try this place: Arizona Wing Chun Association. If you do, tell Master Bradley that Jon Ferguson from Hapkido-Online sent you. He will take good care of you.
I've been very fortunate in my life time to have found the right senseis/ instructors at the right time. My 1st love will always be Shorin ryu. I've tried other styles and while they had their pros, maybe I was just spoiled at an early age to find that "Mr. Miyagi" type sensei to learn from.

Mostly harmless, mostly lurking.

I have deep respect for all martial arts, and anyone who dedicates themselves to learn an art. I am trained in traditional boxing (looooong ago), and Tae Kwon Do (prefer the non-compound nomenclature).

Stay safe, enjoy your art. And don't fool yourself - getting away to live another day is some much smarter than engaging.
