Martial arts turned my life around.

I used to be the type of person who was driven by only two thing: pride and anger. I was obsessed with being though, acting tough, and above all being successful. Now, I am not saying those are bad things, in the Machiavellian way they are all positives (I would have scored like 100% on the Machiavelli test two years ago), but for me they were bad. It was actually because of this pathology that I choose to take up ninjutsu, fancying myself some sort of bad-***. Two solid years under a perfect teacher for me have let to a start reevaluation of my priorities, and I can laugh at who I was. I hope to share this on these forums.

Perhaps you could give my friend some advice ha he still acts like that, but the moment i put him through a little taste of training he gets angry immediately when he cant do it. Im not too sure how to help him with that...I try to teach him techniques but he thinks hes this amazing fighter, hasnt been through any training though, and when he finally tries out a drill i give him he doesnt want to do it for long cause its too hard i think. Then goes off and does his own thing. Lol maybe you can teach him the way. Its always good to hear when people change themselves for the better! Keep it up!!
