Well, so the big focus of my Soo Bahk Do life now is learning Chil Sung Sam. Of course, I'm very behind here....but its going quickly. I started on it last Thursday, go the rest of the way last night. So now its just a matter of remembering and cleaning. Remembering is of course the hardest part.
Although, I've started to notice something. the more I learn new forms, between SBD or HDGD, I seem to learn more quickly. What used to take a month now takes 2 days. I am assuming that it is just pattern recognition and having the proper "vocabulary." But it is certainly nice to learn forms so much quicker.
All in all though, Chil Sung Sam is a cool form. I really enjoy it. Although, it is just a textbook of the Pyang Ahns and a few other traditional forms, it is definately a different interpretation and the performance is fun. It is of course...a long, drawn out form, but worth it anyway.
