01-03-2010 07:05 PM:The war of words and jabs between Dana White and recently departed Dan Hendrson hit another level yesterday when the fighter claimed that he had "dumped" the UFC president. But he did so in a funny way saying White too needy.

Anyone who's been around hite, knows the guy like to compete. An MMA organization that steps up to compete with the UFC has the crosshairs between it's eyes. Strikeforce more than poked MMA's top organization by signing Fedor Emelianenko and then stealing away Henderson. White and Henderson were tight-lipped right after the signing without much trash talk. Then the shackles came off a bit at the UFC 107 prefight press conference when White said Henderson would never be back ion the UFC and that, "he knows where we stand." Hendo fired back a little before Strikeforce: Evolution talked about being erased from the UFC history vaults. Yesterday, the veteran showed a good sense of humor in cracking on White's past as an exercise instructor.

Henderson also took a jab at White during a recent MMA awards show asking again that his highlights are included in future UFC archives. The battle between Zuffa and Strikeforce is going to get chippier in time. The WEC's Reed Harris got in on the action a few weeks ago saying Strikeforce had no direction. Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker responded (1:15 mark):

"I like Urijah Faber but I really can't remember who's fighting over there."

Coker also said his organization still holds the U.S. attendance record for an MMA event (0:45 mark) with Shamrock v. Gracie. Some claim the UFC's event in Columbus, Ohio, UFC 68, broke that mark. Coker got in a crack saying that his organization doesn't comp tickets.
