So far, what MA has taught me this past month is that.

You need:
1) A bulk supply of Tiger Balm
2) A hot tub
3) More ice than your freezer can hold
4) Caffeine

:caffeine: Anyone want to add anything?

My conditioning is never good enough.

There is always someone better than me.

Everyone can learn

It's easy to get injured.

You have to get many bruises to the shins before they toughen up.

You can never have too much athletic tape or too many Ace bandages on hand.

It doesn`t count as blocking if you do it with your chin.

Don`t train with people who seem to have something to prove.

QFT!

Also, to quote one of my favorite songs:

Scars heal... glory fades
And all were left with are the memories made, oh yeah
Pain hurts, but only for a minute
Yeah life is short so go on and live it
Cause the chicks dig it

Hello, ..We got muscles in places we never new...the aches and pains after a hard class.

NO pain..no gain! ...this is an old one for sure...

...everything we do has a purpose and meaning...even just standing

...NOT everyone knows how to breathe...even today for the most experinces too..

..to be a true martial artist..is too live it everyday..and make it a part of your life...eat, drink, and sleep in it!

Aloha, ...and the learning NEVER ENDS too...

Small NOTE: Learning Martial Arts, can come from everywhere and anywhere too...(ever had someone poke there fingers in both ears while grabbing your head?)

I love good coffee (i.e., Arabica beans) but remember that caffeine is a diuretic, which means you can end up being under hydrated if you use caffeine too near a workout.

Hydration is important to performing well and avoiding injuries.

Also, hot tubs aren't what you need. You need cold water immersion :)
