We know UFC president Dana White isn't a huge fan of Strikeforce and more accurately Showtime. The upstart promotion plucked Fedor Emelianenko from White's hands and recently signed veteran Dan Henderson along with free agent heavyweight Bobby Lashley. White's blood has been boiling. Now Reed Harris, the GM of Zuffa's smaller weight promotion, WEC, is ready to throw hands with Strikeforce. WEC 45 on Versus goes head-to-head with Strikeforce: Evolution tomorrow night. Harris said he doesn't understand why fight fans would be fired up to watch Strikeforce:

"For Strikeforce you kind of see this round robin thing, whereguys fights, they disappear, they comeback. Nothing against thefighters. [Strikeforce] has no direction right now," Harris told DC and The Sunshine Man on ESPNRadio1100. "If they're going toget better and become big, they need to fill up those divisions withdepth and quit recycling guys."

Listen below to Harris:

It sounds like Harris saying everything has to point to the top of the mountain and belts:

"The difference between WEC and Strikeforce is we have almost all the top guys in the world in our company and they don't. The other thing is when we do our fights they all have meaning. Donald (Cerrone's) fight has meaning. There are certain implications as far as fighting for the title."

The top fights at Strikeforce include Cung Le against Scott Smith, Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza against Matt Lindland and Mo Lawal versus Mike Whitehead. The main event at WEC 45 features Cerrone against Ed Ratcliff.

Is Harris right? Is Strikeforce getting stale? On paper, the fights in San Jose all look to have the potential of exciting finishes.
