Is it the US hiding losses or the media not making such information headline news?

The military gives press briefings regularly in most theaters of operation (as they can), and the information is getting out, I just think it isn't hot enough to make the regular coverage times.

It's a shame because these guys/girls are doing the job and should be recognized/honored for keeping their oaths and facing the dangers they do.
